Filming of reality show "Return" kicks off in Dagestan

Today was the first day of filming the first Dagestani reality show. During 20 days, 12 women, participating in the project, will run their households in the way their great-grandmothers did in the 19th century. The project is intended to show young people the uniqueness and originality of Dagestan, say the authors of the "Return" reality show.

Today, all the participants, earlier selected at the contest, arrived at the filming site, Nazira Alieva, the project author and reality show presenter, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The "Return" ethno-project, presented by the State TV and Radio Company (GTRK) "Dagestan" jointly with the "Tarkovsky Media" Company, is the first ever Dagestani reality show. During 20 days, the women will live in the past: they will have to organize their everyday life, cook food and run their households in the same way as Dagestani women did it over a hundred years ago.

The youngest woman-participant in the reality show is 21; the oldest one is 43.

The unfortunate participants will leave the show one by one – the losers will be defined by the participants themselves; and when just two of them remain in the "Return" project, the TV audience will define the final winner, Patima Magomedova, one of the authors of the reality show, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. The winner will receive a cash prize of 100,000 roubles.
