NKR blames Azerbaijan for 250 bombardments per week

Over the past week, on June 4-10, the Azerbaijani party violated the ceasefire regime at various sectors of the troops contact line for more than 250 times, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has reported.

According to the MoD, during these attacks, 60-mm and 82-mm mortars, as well as heavy-duty antitank grenade launchers were used.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a week earlier, on June 3, the NKR's MoD announced about 300 bombardments undertaken by Azerbaijan over the previous seven days.

In its turn, Azerbaijan has reported today about 144 bombardments committed by the Armenian party over the past 24 hours.

  • Rights defenders give number of kidnapped people in Chechnya

    At least 80 residents of Chechnya have been kidnapped after a car with a DUSTUM license plate was set on fire; volunteers have identified the names of a number of them.
