Sochi investigator finds no link of Degtereva’s death with alienation of her housing

An investigator refused to initiate a criminal case in connection with the death of the 36-year-old Nadezhda Degtereva, who committed suicide by jumping from a bridge in Sochi. Praskovya Degtereva, her mother, states that her daughter was brought to suicide by "black realtors."

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that in September 2016 Nadezhda Degtereva and her mother reported that their apartment in Sochi was secretly re-sold. According to mother and daughter, other townspeople have also suffered from this fraudulent scheme of the group of "black realtors". The court in Sochi ruled to evict the family out of their apartment.

On January 27, it became known that Nadezhda Degtereva committed suicide.

In the resolution, the investigator referred to the doctors' conclusions that Nadezhda Degtereva had suffered from mental problems and underwent treatment.

In his opinion, Nadezhda Degtereva committed suicide "by her own, without any pressure from third persons."

Her mother disagrees with this conclusion. She pointed out that her daughter's deathbed statement clearly pointed to those in charge of her death.
