Taganrog programmer detained in Spain at request from US

At the request of Interpol and the FBI, the law enforcement authorities have detained programmer Stanislav Lisov, who arrived to Spain from the Rostov Region on vacation.

According to Darya Lisova, the wife of the detainee, her husband, who is engaged in Taganrog in development and support of websites, has been detained by the Spanish police at the Barcelona airport.

Today, on January 19, the "RT" reports with reference to Darya Lisova that the Spanish police have explained the detention of the Russian citizen by the request from the FBI and Interpol, received by them.

According to Darya Lisova, no charges have yet been filed against Stanislav Lisov, and he is being kept at the "Brians" prison in Martorell in Catalonia.

The Spanish authorities have officially notified the Russian Embassy about the detention of Stanislav Lisov. The Russian side has already sent a request to the competent Spanish authorities asking about the reasons and details of detention of the resident of the Rostov Region, the "Kommersant" reports.
