Ramzan Kadyrov replaces heads of four Chechen District within two days
On January 12, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov appointed new leaders of the plain Shelkovsky District and the mountainous Nozhai-Yurt Districts of Chechnya.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the administration of the Chechen leader and the Chechen government that Aslanbek Muzuruev became the new head of the administration of the Nozhai-Yurt District.
Last summer, Vakhit Geremeev was appointed the head of the administration of the Nozhai-Yurt District. He is a cousin of Adam Delimkhanov, a deputy of the Russian State Duma and the adviser to the Chechen leader. Suleiman Geremeev, one of the Vakhit Geremeev's brothers, is a senator of the Federation Council, while Vakha Geremeev, the second brother, holds the position of the chief of the ROVD (District Interior Division) of the Shelkovsky District of Chechnya.
On January 11, after an attack of militants in the Kurchaloi District, the Chechen leader replaced the heads of the administrations of the Kurchaloi and Gudermes Districts. The Kurchaloi District is now headed by Ali Abdulaev, an MP of the Chechen Parliament. Usman Ozdamirov, another Chechen MP, was appointed the head of the Gudermes District. Thus, during two days, heads of four Chechen districts were replaced.
