Rostov authorities intend to send 50 million roubles more to Gukovo miners

Alexander Grebenschikov, the First Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region, has visited Gukovo, where he met miners of the "Kingcoal" Company.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that to repay salary debts to the miners, who have been holding protests in Gukovo, additional 300 million roubles were needed; miners also demand to receive the so-called "ration coal".

"Thanks to Governor Vasily Golubev's appeal to local businessmen, miners will receive 50 million roubles more before the end of the year; the money will be allocated as repayment of debts on wages," Mr Grebenschikov said during his meeting with miners.

According to his story, payments will continue after the New Year, the website of the government of the Rostov Region has reported today.
