Political analysts: for own peace, Kremlin to keep Ramzan Kadyrov as head of Chechnya

The failure of Ramzan Kadyrov to fulfil fundamental conditions of a tacit contract with the Kremlin on the Chechnya's compliance with the Russian laws in all spheres of life will not result in his resignation. This opinion was voiced by political analysts, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot". They believe that the Ramzan Kadyrov's calls for capital punishment for offenders and the public reprimand of people who were not sentenced by court do not fit into the framework of the law.

Since late March, after the Ramzan Kadyrov's with Vladimir Putin, the situation in Chechnya has not changed, and the Russian President's demand for the Chechnya's compliance with "the Russian laws in all spheres of life" has not been satisfied, reports Alexei Malashenko, a member of the Scientific Council of the Moscow Carnegie Centre.

According to the expert, the situation can change in case if Ramzan Kadyrov behaves tactlessly; however, it is not worth expecting that.

The Kremlin is unlikely to withdraw Ramzan Kadyrov from the post of the Chechen leader, because after him, his team is also to be removed, believes political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin. The Kremlin takes advantage of Ramzan Kadyrov, and his departure is possible only in the case of the Putin's departure, notes Dmitry Oreshkin.

Dmitry Oreshkin believes that the Ramzan Kadyrov's statements about capital punishment for criminals suggest that the Chechen republic faces a formation of "something like a mafia." According to Dmitry Oreshkin, public institutes are replaced by the "will of the leader."
