Valery Brinikh succeeds in seeking examination of his article

In Maikop, despite the objections of public prosecutors, the court has pronounced the decision to grant the motion for re-examination of the article written by ecologist Valery Brinikh.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 5, advocates of Valery Brinikh filed a motion for re-examination of the Valery Brinikh's article. The advocates insist that the examination is to involve linguists, psychologists, and sociologists.

At the court hearing held on May 24, Elizaveta Tolstunova, a linguist from Nizhny Novgorod, stated that while examining the Valery Brinikh's article, an expert of the forensic centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Adygea committed gross violations of the methods of examination for content of extremist statements.

According to Valery Brinikh, the court listened to the arguments of the defence. The court pronounced the decision to send the materials to the Krasnodar forensic laboratory of the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ).
