Resident of Tyrnyauz found guilty of aiding and abetting militants

The Elbrus District Court of Kabardino-Balkaria has sentenced a resident of Tyrnyauz to 4.5 years of imprisonment in a common-security penal colony for aiding and abetting militants and possession of ammunition.

According to the Prosecutor's Office of Kabardino-Balkaria, the man was charged under five Articles of the Criminal Code, including financing of militants, possession of weapons, explosive devices and drugs.
