In Dagestan, three persons killed during CTO in Karabudakhkent District

Today, at 3:30 a.m. Moscow time, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime has been introduced in the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan.

During an armed clash, according to the preliminary information, two militants were killed, reports a source from the law enforcement bodies. According to him, a special forces fighter was also killed, and three other law enforcers were wounded.

The "Interfax" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of the region that at 1:14 p.m. Moscow time, an armed clash occurred in a forest several miles from Makhachkala.

"While combing the area, unidentified persons opened fire on fighters of the federal troops. Two criminals were eliminated by return fire. During the battle, a special forces fighter was killed," reported the source.

Besides, according to the source, three other law enforcers were wounded.
