Power agents detain employee of Makhachkala mosque

Policemen have planted weapons to Magomed Magomedov, the spokesperson of the Salafi mosque located in Hungarian Fighters Street, assert the eyewitnesses – employees of the mosque.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported referring to employees and believers of the above mosque that on April 10 a group of drunken policemen entered the mosque; they insulted the believers, threatened them and demanded to go with them to the police station. On April 12, representatives of the mosque filed an application demanding to make the policemen accountable.

According to employees of the mosque, Magomed Magomedov was detained by power agents tonight. "In the course of a search, they planted weapons on him, after which he was detained by armed men in masks and OMON (riot police) agents," a mosque employee told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to his story, the tonight's detention of Magomed Magomedov has to do with "the recent incident with the policemen's intrusion into the mosque."
