Resident of Dagestan fined for posting IS symbols on Internet

The Kazbek District Court has fined a Leninaul villager for posting an image of the "Islamic State” (IS) banned in Russia in a social network.

According to prosecutors, he posted an image of IS flag on his personal page in the social network "VKontakte".

The above court has awarded the man with an administrative penalty in the form of a fine, the website of the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office has reported today.

The amount of the fine and the date of the judgement are not specified.

Let us remind you that in April the Prosecutor's Office reported a similar case against a resident of the Khasavyurt District, who was fined by 1000 roubles.
