Kuban FSB announces search for two participants of conflict in Iraq

The militants put on the wanted list are accused of participating in the banned terrorist organization "Islamic State” (IS). Also, the Kuban (Krasnodar Territorial) power agents are searching for a helper to the "Jabhat al-Nusra".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported referring to the Russian Public Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika that in 2015, the number of criminal cases against Russians-members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) abroad reached nearly 650. Evgeny Sysoev, the deputy director of the FSB, also said that about seven thousand Russians and migrants from the CIS are fighting for the IS.

According to the FSB, two of whom are natives of one of the republics of Northern Caucasus, have undergone training in training terrorist centres in the territory of Syria, and fought for the militants in Iraq.

Criminal cases have been initiated against all the above suspects.
