The court in Makhachkala has ruled to place Murad Valiev, Gadji Ramazanov, Sharip Khabibov and Magomed Magomedov, suspected of involvement in "Hizb ut-Tahrir", a terrorist organization banned in Russia, in custody.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 2 in Makhachkala, nine people were taken to the police station on suspicion of involvement in the "Hizb ut-Tahrir". Later, four of them were released, said a law enforcement source.

The Sovietskiy District Court of Makhachkala has granted the petition asking to arrest Murad Valiev, Gadji Ramazanov, Sharip Khabibov and Magomed Magomedov. According to investigators, they were members of the grouping engaged in organizing the activities and dissemination of ideas of the "Hizb ut-Tahrir", says the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan.
