ICRF Chairman treats Nemtsov's murder as solved

The murder of the opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was solved in 2015, said Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigating Committee of the Russian   Federation (ICRF).

Boris Nemtsov was killed on February 27, 2015, in central Moscow. According to official data, five natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia were detained as suspects, namely, Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Shagid Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov. All of them are under arrest. On December 29, 2015, they saw their final indictment. The figurants in the case are also the officers of the Chechen battalion "Sever" (North) Ruslan Mukhudinov, who was announced wanted and is considered to be the customer of the murder, and Ruslan Geremeev.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Nemtsov's family members insist on the reclassification of the criminal case from Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder) to more serious Article 277 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempt on the life of a state or public figure). The victim party claims that the political motives of the murder are denied unreasonably. However, on December 25, the Basmanny Court of Moscow supported the position of the investigators.

"In 2015, we solved the murders of Boris Nemtsov; of Dmitry Soshnev, Director of the 'Coca-Cola' Factory; and the murders by 'GTA gang' of motor vehicle owners; besides, the gang was unmasked headed by Inessa Tarverdieva, which operated in the Rostov Region and Stavropol Territory and was involved in the murder of the police officer Dmitry Chudakov, his wife and two small children, committed on Federal Highway 'Don'," said Bastrykin in an interview to be published on January 21 by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta: Nedelya", the "Interfax" reports.
