In Nalchik, rescue team stops clearing ruins of house destroyed during CTO

In Nalchik, special purpose vehicles have left the territory around the house destroyed during the special counterterrorist operation (CTO) carried out by law enforcers on January 15-16.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 18, in Nalchik, a rescue team began to clear the ruins of the house, which was destroyed during the special operation carried out on January 15-16. The man killed in a shootout with law enforcers was identified as Alim Nakhushev, who used to work at a car repair shop. The law enforcers treat him as an active accomplice of militants.

Today, no one works at the place of the destroyed house, and special purpose vehicles are removed from the territory around the house, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The urban territory around the destroyed house is densely covered by buildings; however, only one of the neighbouring houses got its fence damaged. Besides, the temporary accessory building in the yard was destroyed.

According to Igor Denisov, an owner of the house, on January 19, he was visited by officials from the administration of Nalchik. They have inspected the ruins and assessed the damage. Meanwhile, Igor Denisov found it difficult to tell the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent when the damage would be covered and what amount he would be paid.
