Relative of PFPA Chairman announced wanted for calls to terrorism

Inglab Kerimov, a citizen of Azerbaijan, living in France, is spreading on the Internet calls for terrorist activities within the "Islamic State" (IS), said the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office (GPO). Kerimov is a cousin of the chairman of the oppositional Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Ali Kerimli.

Today, the GPO has announced Inglab Kerimov wanted.

According to the GPO, on January 7, Kerimov posted a photo of a pistol on his Facebook page, accompanied by a comment "posing danger to the life of Azerbaijan citizens," and calls for terrorist activities within the IS in the territory of Azerbaijan (the IS, earlier ISIL is recognized in Russia, Azerbaijan and other countries as a terrorist organization and banned – note of the "Caucasian Knot").

The GPO has initiated a criminal case against Kerimov under Articles 134 (threat to kill or cause grievous bodily harm) and 214.2 (calls to terrorism) of the country's Criminal Code, the APA reports with reference to the GPO.
