Head of Georgian NGO refuted Chechen head's statement about death of Tarkhan Batirashvili
The information of the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov about the death of one of the leaders of the ISIL Tarkhan Batirashvili (Abu Umar al-Shishani), posted on the Instagram network, is untrue, said Umar Idigov, the head of the NGO "Foundation of Caucasus Integration", and a resident of the village of Duisi in Georgia's Pankisi Gorge.
Let us remind you that on November 13 Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Instagram blog that "the enemy of Islam Tarkhan Batirashvili, who called himself Omar al-Shishani, was killed."
However, Umar Idigov is sure that the photo posted by Kadyrov on the Instagram as proof of Tarkhan Batirashvili's death, depicts another person.
"Most likely, this is another Ramzan Kadyrov's hoax," Idigov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
