Doctors transfer four-year-old girl beaten in Grozny to neurological ward of Republic's Children's Hospital

On August 27, a four-year-old girl, who during more than one month received medical treatment at the Children Clinical Hospital No. 2, to where she had been brought in a state of coma, was transferred to the neurological ward of the Republic's Children Clinical Hospital. It has more advanced medical equipment at disposal, the "Caucasian Knot" was told by Ruslan Ganaev, the chief physician of the Children Clinical Hospital No. 2.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the girl was brought to the emergency department of the Children's Hospital No. 2 of Grozny on July 19 in an unconscious state. Her 24-year-old stepmother was detained on suspicion of beating the girl.

The girl who suffered the severe trauma is still to undergo a long period of rehabilitation, stated Amina Idrisova, the deputy chief physician of the Republic's Children Clinical Hospital.

Amina Idrisova has also stated that the fact that the girl's own mother is next to her around the clock and constantly care of her daughter contributes to the child's recovery.
