In Chechnya, 42 persons hospitalized with poisoning

42 residents of the Gudermes District of Chechnya, including minors, were hospitalized with symptoms of poisoning.

The presumable reason for the mass poisoning of the villagers of Ishkhoi-Yurt is in the water from an open source they use for drinking, cooking, and other domestic needs. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by the Ministry of Health of Chechnya.

According to local residents, the village of Ishkhoi-Yurt has no centralized water supply. The water comes from a mountain spring, and the villagers take the water from the standpipes installed in the streets.

According to the administration of the Gudermes District, Ishkhoi-Yurt is the village with population of more than four thousand residents.
