Court arrests Aslan Natov detained during special operation in KBR

On May 26, Aslan Natov, a resident of the city of Baksan of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), who was detained during the special operation, was arrested by the decision of the Baksan City Court. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Ruslan Natov, the brother of the arrested man.

Ruslan Natov has found it difficult to indicate the exact term of the arrest for his brother and the formulation of the charges.

Magazali Endreev, Chairman of the Public Oversight Commission (POC) of the KBR, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the POC received no complaints in connection with the arrested man. "If we receive a complaint, then we will respond," he has emphasized.

Aslan Natov was the owner of the house where suspected militants were hiding. On May 23, they were killed during the special operation in Baksan. The Aslan Natov's family members were set free by law enforcers prior to the armed clash; and he was detained and taken away to some unknown destination. This was stated by his brother on May 23 in the letter sent to the law enforcement agencies of the KBR, Ombudsman in the KBR, Human Rights Centre of the KBR, and the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial".
