Nino Burjanadze's staff has fixed over thousand violations at the election

The election of the President of Georgia was falsified; and the results were rigged, said Irakli Batiashvili, the head of the electoral office of Nino Burjanadze. According to his story, in total, over a thousand violations were registered.

The office received information that after 4 p.m. on October 27 Nino Burjanadze was in the lead at the polls; however, her opponents then united in an attempt to falsify the election, said Batiashvili.

The "Democratic Movement" Party has stressed that activists conducted a parallel vote count; and it evidenced that Nino Burjanadze and Georgy Margvelashvily had to enter the second round of the election.

"We appeal to Bidzina Ivanishvili to prevent the massive fraud, which will remain a black spot in the modern history of Georgia," says the statement of the office of Nino Burjanadze's party.

So far, other participants of the election gave no comments on the above statements.
