Grozny residents throw eggs at offices of mobile operators

Today, in Grozny, offices of the mobile operators "VympelCom" and "MegaFon" were pelted with eggs. Besides, unidentified persons cut communication cables in several places. This was reported by a source from the office of the "MegaFon".

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has reported that today, Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, withdrew the Mosque "Heart of Chechnya" from the all-Russian contest of sights "Russia-10", although it entered the final round in the second place. The decision was made after the massive complaints of Chechen residents about the fact that in the evening of August 29 their votes casted by SMS-messages were no longer counted. Ramzan Kadyrov has said that official confirmation of the number of votes is incorrect.

The cellular operators that received SMS-messages of voters did not commit any fraud. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a staff member of the mobile operator "MegaFon", who preferred to remain anonymous.

He has confirmed that on August 29, part of SMS-messages with the votes of participants were not counted because of low power of their servers. According to the source's version, the leaders of the cellular companies promised to eliminate the misunderstanding.
