Hurricane kills three in Dagestan, Russia

Three people died in a hurricane in Dagestan. They all died because of house collapses caused by the hurricane, the press service for the Southern regional center of the Russian Civil Defense Ministry said. One hundred and eight were put to hospitals. Power transmission lines and administrative buildings in 22 highland districts were destroyed. The wind speed reached 35 m/sec. This is the strongest hurricane in the republic over the past 100 years, the Russian Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Roshydromet) says.
