Georgian policemen kill officer of special operations forces in South Osetia

On the night of February 6-7, at about 2 a.m., Georgian policemen fired on cars in which officers of the special forces of the South Osetian Ministry of Defense and Emergency Situations were. The incident happened at the post that is situated in the village of Eredvi in the Georgian-Osetian conflict zone.

A company commander, Mamitov Viktor, 1981, was killed as a result of the fire. The incident is under investigation now.
