7 persons injured in explosion at Volgograd cafe "Bellagio" receive no financial assistance yet

7 persons injured in explosion at the cafe "Bellagio", who undergo medical treatment in Cologne and Moscow, have not yet been able to get immediate compensations from the budget of the city Volgograd. According to the city department of municipal payments, the money will be paid to all victims.

"Each of 17 persons, who need medical treatment, and each of 7 families, whose housings and properties were damaged, received immediate compensation in the amount of 20,000 roubles. Moreover, each of 2 family members, who applied for help to pay for travel to the place of medical treatment of their children, received 10,000 roubles. The administration of the Central District allocated to fire victims additional compensations in the amount of 5000 roubles," said Arkady Grushko, the head of the department of municipal payments and work with population of the Volgograd city administration.

According to him, additional 5 million roubles were allocated from the reserve fund of the Volgograd city administration for repairing damages building and apartments. Arkady Grushko has clarified that at present, the repair works at the entrance to enhance the structure of the building are started, and the beginning of the facade repairing will be started with the onset of warmer and drier weather.

To effectively assist the victims, charitable foundations were established. According to the information on March 12, more than 492,900 roubles were transferred to the account opened by the "Association of clubs, restaurants, bars and cafes of city of Volgograd and Volgograd Region", which includes the cafe "Bellagio", to aid the victims, the official website of the organization reports.
