Two suspected militants shot dead in Ingushetia
In the city of Malgobek, Ingushetia, during a special operation, two members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) were liquidated, said the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
According to the NAC, law enforcers had received information about preparation by a grouping of suspected militants of a terror act with the use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
This was followed by a special operation, during which security forces killed two men.
As noted in the police, while trying to stop the car with suspected militants inside, the latter opened automatic fire at the policemen, the "Interfax" reports.
As a result of the return fire, opened by law enforcers, an IED went off in the car and fatally wounded the men inside, RIA "Novosti" reports.
One of the casualties was initially identified as Tsyzdoev, Adam Maksharipovich, born in 1979, "the leader of the Ingush bandit underground," as the NAC has reported. The second casualty is being identified.
