In Volgograd Region, governess arrested on suspicion of cruel beating of child
Court arrested the governess of the family group in the Volgograd Region, suspected of beating a 6-year-old pupil. This was reported today by the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the Kotovo District of the Volgograd Region, the 6-year-old child with numerous injuries was hospitalized unconscious to the resuscitation ward of the hospital. According to investigators, the governess beat the child for the fact that he took candies without permission.
According to the refined version of the investigators, on February 22 the woman noticed that one of her pupils took sweets from the kitchen without permission. When the boy began to deny that fact, she beat the child.
At present, the victim is still at the resuscitation ward of the hospital of the town of Kotovo. Doctors diagnosed closed traumatic brain injury, intracranial haematoma, and severe brain contusion. The child underwent surgery. Physicians assessed his health state as severe, the ICRF reports.
Earlier, the guardianship authorities took the injured boy away from his parents. At present, the investigators are to identify the officials, through whose fault the child was transferred to that educational group, the ICRF's website reports.
