The Labour party of Georgia demands to withdraw military forces from Afghanistan

The Labour party of Georgia calls for all the oppositional parties to work out a joint national declaration demanding withdrawal of Georgian military forces from Afghanistan.

At a press conference held on February, 22, ideology secretary of the Labour party Georgy Gugava announced that the declaration worked out by these political forces would be sent to NATO headquarters.

“We call for all the political forces to sign the national declaration and demand withdrawal of our military units from Afghanistan. Anyone who does not sign the document will be Georgia’s enemy”, ”Georgia Online” quotes Georgy Gugava.

On behalf of his party he expressed condolence to the families of three Georgian servicemen whose loss in Afghanistan was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia on February, 22, “Echo of the Caucasus” reports.
