Over 30 persons detained in Dagestani village of Komsomolskoe, local resident reports

Today, villagers have reported about mass detentions. Employees of the Kizilyurt ROVD (District Interior Division) promise to release all the detainees quite soon. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told about it by Magomed Magomedov, a resident of the village of Komsomolskoe.

The source said that the ROVD keeps about 30 detainees. "Among them, there are brothers Kazanatov – Gairbek and Akhmed, Said Zubairov, Zaur Gamzatov, Khabib Gadjiev, Magomedsaid Magomedov, Ismatula Magomedov, Ramadan Magomedov and Abdullah Abdurakhmanov. All of them are strictly practicing Muslims," he said.

The names of other detainees are still unknown, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

"Relatives of the detainees are standing near the Kizilyurt ROVD. One of police men went out to us and said that all the detainees would be released soon. Hew didn't explain the reasons for the detentions," said Magomedov.

The on duty unit of the ROVD said that they knew nothing about the detentions; the same was reported by the press centre of the MIA of Dagestan.
