At rally in Kabardino-Balkaria, relatives of killed power agents adopt resolution

Nalchik hosted a rally today organized by relatives of the law enforcers killed by militants. The participants of the action have adopted a resolution and decided to set up a public organization to combat terrorism and extremism.

Sufadin Shebzukhov, the father of a perished law enforcer and one of the organizers, opened the rally and said it was difficult for him to explain why "local bandits of Kabardino-Balkaria are exhibiting such inhuman cruelty to their victims."

Addressing members of illegal armed formations IAFs), Sufadin Shebzukhov said that "they had brought seeds of discord into the society and received hatred and contempt in response."

Zalina Kushkhova, the widow of the district policeman Khasan Kushkhov, said she had left with three young children without a roof over her head.

"Why wasn't the police station, which had been earlier attacked twice, even fenced off? Why were the surveillance TV cameras just a fake?" Zalina Kushkhova asked her questions.

The aunt of Murat Gergova, a killed FSB agent, said that the relatives of the perished law enforcers voice against construction of a large Islamic University in the republic.

The rally made a joint decision to set up a public organization for countering terrorism and extremism.
