Resident of Chechen village of Gekhi abducted

A local resident, Saykhan Goytemirov, was abducted on January 22 in the village of Gekhi, Chechnya's Urus-Martan district. When he was going to see his relatives, cars without number plates blocked his way. Gunmen in masks came out of the cars and took him away in an unknown direction. Witnesses say the abductors bear relation to security structures and Kadyrov's security service. Today's whereabouts of Goytemirov is unknown. The man's close relatives searched for him but unsuccessfully.
