Rally "For Fair Elections" takes place in Krasnodar

Krasnodar has hosted a rally "For Fair Elections"; it was coordinated with city authorities and attended by OSCE observers.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent ran a real time online broadcasting from the venue:

1:20 p.m.: The rally starts; it is mediated by local activist Anton Konovalov. He jokes about the money of the State Department. The authorities have provided tea as promised.

1:50 p.m.: Alexander Papanov, the head of the Police of Public Security, speaks about 300 participants. Visually – twice as many; and the organizing committee says about 600-700. Some 150 people more are standing outside the fence.

2:50 p.m.: OSCE observers appear at the rally.

3:39 p.m.: At the end of the rally, the organizing committee disseminates the "money of the State Department": they slammed big firecrackers, from which small dollars and euros fly over the square. The resolution of the rally was adopted unanimously.

3:43 p.m.: A farewell Russian anthem is performed. Despite the smaller crowd than planned, almost everyone who came withstood 2.5 hours in the frost. The rally was held on the gay wave. They plan to repeat the "fun" on February 26.

Today, rallies within the nationwide campaign "For Fair Elections" are held in many Russian cities, including those of the Southern and North-Caucasian Federal Districts (SFD and NCFD).
