Court decides to send five Georgia citizens out of South Ossetia

On February 1, the South-Ossetian party plans to deliver five Georgian citizens detained for illegal crossing the border to its Georgian counterpart, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by a source from the KGB (Committee for State Security) of South Ossetia.

He explained that on January 25, near the Georgian village of Kirbali, close to the border with South Ossetia, Russian border guards detained five Georgian citizens for trespassing.

"The detainees are two Tokadze brothers - David and Muraz, Nodar Magaladze, Shalva Papiashvili and Murman Tatiashvili. All of them had illegally crossed the border and were delivered for further proceedings to the Frontier Service of the KGB of South Ossetia. The detainees were tried in accordance with South Ossetian legislation," he said.

According to the KGB, the court has ruled to expel the trespassers back to Georgia. The delivery will take place in the village of Ergneti, which borders on Georgia.
