Natives of Stavropol region and Uzbekistan detained for untrue statement of preparation of terror in "Domodedovo"

According to more precise data, a native of Stavropol region and a citizen of Uzbekistan were detained on January, 18, near "Domodedovo" airport of Moscow after one of them declared that he was going to commit an explosion. This was reported by Press service of Chief Transport Directorate of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Central Federal Okrug.

It was reported earlier that two natives of Kabardino-Balkaria told the guards of "Domodedovo" just for fun about their intention to explode the airport. The men drew a guard's attention when they parked a car near the bar at the entrance to the territory of the airport. To the guard's request to remove the vehicle one of them said: "We have come to explode you". The personnel of transport police were called to the site at once.

Later Press service specified that one of the detainees was a citizen of Uzbekistan born in 1980, the other native of Stavropol born in 1978, "Russian News Service" referring to "Interfax" reports.

A criminal case was initiated against the men according to clause 207 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (knowingly false report of terror). The suspects may be sentenced to up to three years of custody, RIA "Novosti" reports.

The passengers of "Domodedovo" airport were not evacuated after the incident. On that day the airport functioned in a normal mode, "Izvestia" quotes Press service of "Domodedovo".
