Jioeva’s supporters in Vladikavkaz arrested for five days

In the evening of January, 1, Sovietsky district court passed a judgment of arrest of Elina Marzoeva and Ruslan Magkaev accused of organizing an unauthorized procession in the center of the capital of North Ossetia for a term of 15 days.

According to Elina Marzoeva, the judge did not take the evidence of eyewitnesses into consideration. She states that there was no procession for the people had no banners or slogans in their hands. “I do not consider myself involved in organization of an unauthorized action”, she declared.

Besides, Marzoeva emphasized that she bore no responsibility for the people’s going to the investigative isolation ward.

On January, 2, the court will consider the cases of Dzedrassa Khugaeva and Alan Lokhov also detained for organization of the action, radio “Echo of the Caucasus” reports.

There are no official comments concerning the verdict yet.
