In Ingushetia, power agents join to searching kidnapped Ababukar Evloev and Isa Bulguchev

Residents of Ingushetia Ababukar Evloev and Isa Bulguchev were kidnapped from the former's workplace, said Ababukar's brother Izrail Evloev, citing the eyewitnesses of the kidnapping. According to Akhmed Kotiev, Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia, a criminal case was initiated on the disappearance of the young men; they are searched by the republic's power agencies.

"Ababukar and Isa were kidnapped right from Abubakar's workplace - he worked as a watchman at a warehouse of household appliances in the city of Magas (Ingushetia)," Izrail Evloev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"On December 26, my brother was visited by his friend Isa Bulguchev. At about one o'clock at night, unidentified masked men came to the warehouse; they pushed the guys into the car and drove away to some unknown place," said Izrail.

"We've filed complaints to the local GUVD (Chief Interior Department), the Investigatory and Security Committees, but so far there are no results. We were told: wait, the missing persons are looked for," said Izrail.

He noted that his brother had recently graduated from the Ingush State University; and in the near future he was to start working for the Nazran GUVD, where their younger brother is already working. "He has already collected and submitted all the documents," said Izrail.

According to his story, neither Ababukar nor Isa had ever been involved in illegal armed formations (IAFs) and had no relation to militants. Also, they had never been criminally prosecuted.

Akhmed Kotiev, Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that a criminal case was opened on the loss of the young men. "The case was initiated this morning (on December 29) under Article 126 of the Criminal Code, dealing with kidnappings. Power agencies of the republic are searching them," said Kotiev.

He explained the delay with the opening of the case by the fact that, according to his version, "at first the story was unclear." "And yesterday (on December 28), the abandoned Bulguchev's car - Toyota Camry - was found. Presumably, the young men were taken away in that car," said Kotiev.

He could not guess on who could be involved in the kidnapping.

Djambulat Ozdoev, the Ombudsman in Ingushetia, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he had accepted the application submitted by relatives of Evloev and Bulguchev.

"They addressed us; we have accepted their application and addressed the relevant authorities with a request to find the missing guts as soon as possible," said Ozdoev and added that the relatives had been and would be provided with legal help.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent failed to receive any comments from the officials of the Ingush MIA. The Prosecutor's Office of Ingushetia said that they had no information about the disappearance of Evloev and Bulguchev.
