"Rosaviatsiya" stops "Dagestani Airlines"

The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency ("Rosaviatsiya") has annulled the certificate of the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Dagestani Airlines".

"At present, the OJSC 'Dagestani Airlines' is experiencing a significant shortage of financial resources for its ongoing operations. Its activities are highly losing; the accounts receivable amount to more than 400 million roubles," says the official website of the "Rosaviatsiya".

According to the Agency, the revocation of the certificate will not cause any inconveniences to residents and guests of the Republic of Dagestan. The Makhachkala airport is already servicing and will start servicing in the near future the flights of the following companies: the OJSC "Kuban Airlines", OJSC "Tatarstan Airline", CJSC "RusLine Aviation Company" and LLC "VIM-AVIA Airline". This, in its turn, will create additional preferences for development of the airport as such, the ITAR-TASS reports.

Earlier, Abdullah Angutaev, Deputy Director General of the "Dagestani Airlines", had stated that the company had no debt – on the contrary – the profits this year, for the first ten months, amounted to more than 13 million roubles.
