In Moscow, kidnappers of members of Armenian Diaspora found guilty

The Vidnoe District Court of the Moscow Region has sentenced the figurants in the case of kidnapping of Armenians to 9-17 years in prison.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the courtroom, former OMON (riot police) agents have been found guilty and sentenced to long terms of imprisonment to be served in a high security colony.

The defendant Akop Meliksetyan was sentenced to 17 years, Konstantin Dozorov - to 15, Sergey Kotov - to 14, Alexei Karmanov - to 10, Anton Demidenkov - to 9, Sergey Otrakovsky - to 11 and Samvel Voskanyan - to 10 years of imprisonment.
