Chechen authorities are deporting the constructors who worked in a Turkish company "Penta"

All the constructors who worked in a Turkish company "Penta" will be sent back home on December, 15. This was reported by Federal Migration Service of Chechnya. According to a representative of the office, all the constructors' problems are settled, however local observers state that unpaid wages still remained.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that employees of the Turkish construction company "Penta" repeatedly stated regular non-payment of salaries and threats from the management of the company. Head of "Penta" company Siavush Mamedzade who had hired the constructors in Turkey and Azerbaijan left Chechnya and has a wanted notice.

"We can say that the situation with the constructors of "Penta" company is settled, an official of Department of Federal Migration Service of Russia in Chechnya said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. - All of them will be able to fly back home on December, 15. The matter was that through the fault of the management of the company they had some problems with documents, in particular, their visas had expired. Now all the problems are solved and the situation is settled".

Our interlocutor also said that yesterday, December, 12, the question of transporting the workers from Azerbaijan who had also worked in "Penta" company was settled. Several tens citizens of Azerbaijan went back to their motherland by bus.

However, head of one of the local non-governmental organizations states that he has information in his disposal that neither Azerbaijani nor Turkish constructors got their salary. According to him, the workers were told to "spell things out with their employer, i.e. Mamedzade who escaped". "The Azerbaijanis were transported to the Russian border under guard yesterday. The same will evidently happen to the Turks", he says.

It is also worth mentioning that in the beginning of December a reader contacted the "Caucasian Knot" editorial board and wrote us about a problem 1500 employees of another Turkish company, "Bora Inshaat", encountered. According to the constructors, they were not paid their salary for the last three months and the manager of the company escaped to Turkey.
