Election Commission: "Edinaya Rossiya" gains almost 90 percent of votes in Karachay-Cherkessia

In Karachay-Cherkessia, following the result of the election to the State Duma, the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) leads, which, according to the preliminary calculations, gained 89.83 percent of vote. This was reported by Vyacheslav Aparin, Deputy Chairman of the Republic' Election Commission.

According to the Republic's Election Commission, following the results of the conducted election, the CPRF (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) with 8.82 percent follows the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party; the LDPR (Liberal Democratic Party of Russia) gained 0.28 percent of voters in Karachay-Cherkessia. The "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) gained 0.47 percent, the "Patriots of Russia" - 0.13 percent, the "Yabloko" - 0.13 percent, the "Pravoe Delo" (Right Cause) - 0.11 percent.

According to Vyacheslav Aparin, the Election Commission received no complaints about the course of the election.
