In Dagestan, unidentified persons open fire on power agents; one attacker shot dead

As a result of a skirmish one assailant was killed. As reported by a source from Dagestani law enforcement bodies, there were no losses among power agents.

According to the source, the incident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. Moscow time in the outskirts of the village of Nizhnie Bukhty, Kizlyar District of the republic.

"Law enforcers tried to stop a Lada-Priora car for inspection. The driver did not obey, and somebody opened fire of the cabin," said the source.

According to his story, as a result of response fire "one attacker was killed, and, allegedly, two other escaped; nobody was hurt from among power agents," the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan has confirmed the attack on power agents, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.
