Armenia to host forum of Armenian and Turkish businessmen

On November 22-23, Yerevan will be the venue of a forum devoted to the development of Armenian-Turkish economic relations. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt about it at the Yerevan office of the "Eurasia" Foundation, one of the organizers of the forum.

It is assumed that businessmen of both countries will discuss cooperation and prospects for business development in the absence of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey.

They expect to sign a memorandum of cooperation between businessmen of Armenia and Turkey; a similar document will be signed by businesswomen's organizations of both countries.

The event is organized by the "Eurasia" Foundation, the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the Yerevan Press Club, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia (UIEA) and the International Centre for Human Development.

At the invitation of the UIEA, Armenia will be visited by about 30 businessmen from different cities of Turkey, representing manufacture of jewellery, construction, light industry, trade and other spheres of economy.
