A meeting in memory of the victims of terror in Dubrovka passed off in Moscow

Mourning ceremonies in memory of the victims of terror in the Theatre Center in Dubrovka which happened nine years ago are going on in Moscow today.

Candles are burning and photos of the victims of the tragedy are placed near a commemorative plate today in memory of 130 people who perished as a result of seizure of the building by "Baraev's people" and subsequent operation of hostage release, "Interfax" reports.

The victims' relatives and singer and deputy Joseph Kobzon who took part in releasing women and children spoke before the participants of the meeting near the Theatre Center. Then the children's choir of TV and radio and also famous Russian musicians sang.

130 balloons were launched into the skies, the "First Channel" reports.

After the meeting father superior of a temple under construction started a requiem over the victims of terror.

Family and friends of the victims and people injured not only in the tragedy in Dubrovka but also other acts of terror, i.e. the one in Beslan, North Osetia, Guryanov street and Kashirskoye highway of Moscow, explosions in airplanes "Moscow - Volgograd", "Moscow - Sochi", explosion of a house in Volgodonsk honoured the lost persons' memory.
