Chechen president heads the list of most criticized heads of Russian regions

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov became the leader in the anti-rating of the most criticized governors, compiled by the "Medialogy" Company based on the index of information favour, which is calculated by experts judging from the quality and quantity of citations in the media of characteristics of this or that figure.

The first five leaders of the anti-rating also include the governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachov and of the Volgograd Region Anatoly Brovko.

The calculation was made on the media base that includes more than 6700 leading Russian and foreign sources: TV channels, newspapers, magazines, news agencies, Internet-media, and blogs. In particular, 14,311 messages were analyzed for this study, the "RBC daily" reports.

Mr Kadyrov has won the top position in the anti-rating after losing his trial to rights defender Oleg Orlov, who had been accused of slandering Kadyrov; a negative coverage in mass media was also promoted by the trial in Vienna on the murder of his former bodyguard Umar Israilov, the edition notes.

Kadyrov is the leader in the anti-rating with a large margin. His index was minus 19,089 points; the runner-up Boris Gromov, Governor of the Moscow Region, has minus 10,209, while the index of the third place winner - Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachov - was minus 9117.
