The police in Moscow detained the seventh supposed participant of disturbances in Manezhnaya square

On October, 10, a twenty-four-years-old resident of Samara region Vitaly Vasin was detained in Moscow for suspicion of participation in mass disturbances in Manezhnaya square in December, 2010. This was reported by official representative of Committee of Inquiry of Russia Vladimir Markin. Earlier, six persons were detained in connection with this case.

"According to the investigation's version, on December, 11, Vasin yielding to the crowd's spirit made several shots into the air from a traumatic gun TT "Leader" after which he aimed at riot squad soldiers. The personnel of law enforcement bodies suppressed Vasin's rowdy actions in time", Markin said.

A charge according to clauses of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation "violence against a representative of authority" and "hooliganism" will be brought against Vasin in the nearest future. Maximum penalty stipulated by these clauses is a five-years term of custody", RIA "Novosti" reports.
