Karachay-Cherkessia: officials compile database of young entrepreneurs
On October 3-10, the leading educational institutions of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) hold a mass questioning: local state officials are compiling a database of young people who want to start their own businesses.
The republic's department for youth matters hopes that students will learn about the opportunities granted by the programme "Promoting youth employment and youth entrepreneurship in KChR in 2011-2013".
Volunteers will be duly trained and engaged in questioning. Their task is not just to conduct questioning, but also to interest young people with new opportunities.
"In order to most effectively involve young people in businesses, we need to know their needs and analyze the level of respondents' skills. Thus will help us to form a united registry of potential participants in the above programme," a source from the above department told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to his story, apart from students, the questioning will cover postgraduate students, young professionals and the young people, registered by employment centres. It is assumed that the polling will attract at least 5000 people. Some of them will get a chance to launch their own businesses.
