Isa Yamadaev detained in Paris airport on his way to Moscow

The French authorities have not allowed Isa Yamadaev, the younger brother of the Hero of Russia Ruslan Yamadaev, who was killed in 2008, to get from the United Arab Emirates to Russia, and returned him back to Dubai.

As reported by Yuri Efimenkov, Isa Yamadaev's advocate, his client called him and said that he was kept at the police station of Charles de Gaulle Airport.

"He said that he didn't understand what they wanted of him, because he does not speak French, and nobody understood his English; although it is strange: as far as I know, at detention of foreigners an interpreter should be provided. Nevertheless, he understood that he was not allowed to take his flight to Moscow," said the lawyer.

According to his story, now Yamadaev was sent back to Dubai, from where he plans to get to Russia, "perhaps via some other country," the RAPSI reports.

Mr Efimenkov has added that so far he failed to fix contact with Yamadaev. He tried to clarify the fate of his client through the Russian Consulate in France, but on the following day diplomats could not clarified the situation, the "Interfax" reports.

The advocate has also reminded that Isa Yamadaev is under state protection because of attempts on him.
