Dokku Umarov made peace with the leaders of Chechen armed underground, the gunmen’s web resources report

Chechen field commanders who refused to obey the organizer of the Caucasus Emirate Dokku Umarov a year ago resumed their oath to the leader of North-Caucasian armed underground. This news appeared at informational web resources supporting North-Caucasian gunmen.

Upon the results of reconciliation leader of the Caucasus Emirate Dokku Umarov reorganized the structure of armed forces subject to him acting in the territory of Chechen Republic. The Eastern and South-Western fronts were abolished. Chechnya was divided into battle sectors. Umarov’s deputies were appointed: Aslan Biutukaev (Khamzat) headed the “Western sector” and Husein Gakayev became commander of the “Eastern” one. Aslambek Vadalov and Husein Gakayev confirmed Umarov’s statement, a web-site supporting armed underground reports.

Sources in law enforcement bodies of Chechnya received an information that the conflict between Umarov and Chechen field commanders was settled yet in April. It was pointed out that Supian Abdullaev killed in Ingushetia on March, 28, whom the gunmen respectfully called “Dada” (Father) for he had been the eldest of them (aged 54) and fought yet since the first war in Chechnya had played the major role in settling the conflict between the leaders of the Emirate and the “separatists”.

DNA testing of the remains of the gunmen killed in the special operation in Sunzha district of Ingushetia did not corroborate Umarov’s death.
