The men suspected of sexual rape of an underage girl in Kabardino-Balkaria deny using violence to her

The suspects of a rape of an underage girl in the settlement of Nartan, Kabardino-Balkaria, state that they had sexual relationship with her by her approbation, Chegem District Department of Interior Affairs reported. The girl’s mother says that the reason for this torture was her being a newcomer and does not deny that her daughter is a “screwed-up kid”.

Natalia, the girl’s mother, is a native of the settlement of Nartan but 15 years ago she went to live in Kursk region and recently returned home. The girl attended the local school. “Newspaper of the South” where the girl’s mother appealed was the first to report the rape. Natalia said that her daughter was undergoing multiple rape for two months.

According to her, her daughter used to leave home for the nights and come back in torn clothes, with bruises but said nothing, finally she told her mother that she was raped by a big group of persons.

According to Azamat Semenov, Senior investigator of Chegem Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation in Kabardino-Balkaria, medical examination discovered bodily injuries, i.e. hurts and bruises on the girl’s head and extremities.

Natalia’s brother considers that the responsible party was the girl and her mother themselves, besides, he thinks it was not a rape but sexual relationship on her own free will. “She does not look like a fifteen-year-old girl, one thinks she is twenty. It is a trap for these guys who are in fact underage, too, but they will get a maximum penalty”, the man says.

He suggested his sister and niece to go back to Kursk region for the issue had assumed too serious dimensions. According to him, 15 years ago he and other relatives helped her buy a house in the settlement of Ivanovsky, Kursk region, with a parcel of land of 5 hectares.

According to Natalia, she was told in Public prosecutor’s office that for the investigation of the criminal case the woman and her daughter should stay in KBR.
